Roger Strickland

Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering (Minerals Processing)

Roger is an experienced metallurgist who has worked with a variety of hard rock mining applications including iron ore, diamonds, gold, copper, silver, lead, zinc, nickel and tungsten. With a hands on approach to problem solving and significant experience in doing test work, he has excellent technical ability and analytical skills. Roger is able to quickly identify problem areas and implement and drive changes for improvement. Outside of metallurgy Roger has worked as an Environmental Officer for the EPA in Victoria, Environmental Health Officer for a local council, developed risk management programs to reduce insurance and compliance costs, and as a technical specialist in water treatment and solids/liquid separation. He is passionate about correct up front mineral processing design, energy efficient comminution, water treatment, safety, the environment, and sustainable practices.

Lynalee Strickland
Managing Director and Applications Engineer
Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
Justice of the Peace (Qualified), Queensland
Lynalee has experience in slurry and water pumping having worked in the industry as a technical sales engineer, project engineer and, Area Manager. In addition, Lynalee has worked for an engineering firm, MAMIC, and completed short-term contract work for Maryvale Paper Mill in Victoria, analysing paper sizing. During a break from industry, Lynalee was self-employed in a farming business. Following the formation of Mateo Solutions, Lynalee has been responsible for management of the company and for providing technical support to customers for pumping reviews, hydraulic calculations, and pump and piping selection, and scoping estimates.
